You can disable the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keyboard shortcut on a Windows Server.

and set the option to Enabled
. This will disable the ability to open Task Manager.

Method 2: Registry key (Regedit)

1. Open Registry Editor:

- Press "Win + R" , type "regedit" and press Enter.

2. Navigate to the appropriate keys:

- Go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System" .

- Create a new DWORD value named DisableTaskMgr
and set it to 1 . If the value already exists, change it to 1
.

4. Close Registry Editor and restart the computer.

Method 3: Third-party software

There are also several third-party tools that offer more comprehensive control over keyboard shortcuts. These tools can customize or disable the functionality of keys.

Method 4: Local Security Policy

1. Open Local Security Policy:

- Press "Win + R" , type "secpol.msc" and press Enter

2. Navigate to Local Policies:

- Go to Local Policies
> Security Options
3. Disable Windows Security Keys: - Find the Interactive logon: No  Ctrl + Alt + Del  required

policy and set it to Enabled .

Important instructions!

- Security considerations:
Only disable these features if you are sure that it will not have security-critical consequences. Disabling such features may compromise the security of your system, especially in an environment where multiple users have access to the server.

- Undo:
To undo the changes, simply set the values or settings back to their original values.

- System changes:
Changes to the system policies and registry should always be performed with caution and preferably by an experienced IT administrator to avoid possible system disruption.

By implementing these steps, you can effectively disable the Ctrl + Alt + Delete key combination and maintain control over system access in your server environment.
