Wi-Fi for everything or why you shouldn't use it?

While basic Wi-Fi/WLAN is handy for everything, don't use it, or at least only use it when necessary!

Content:

1.) ... Wi-Fi for everything or why not!
2.) ... More aspects to always use Wi-Fi or not!

1.) Wi-Fi for everything or why not!

Wi-Fi is ubiquitous these days, but that doesn't mean you should use it exclusively, whenever using Wi-Fi is possible through Ethernet, skipping the wireless connection in favor of the wired one is a better solution wherever you are can do it.

People like using Wi-Fi and that's fine most of the time, they make those trade-offs because it's also wonderfully convenient. With a large number of networked devices such as tablets, iPhones, smartphones, ... there is no other choice.

But we shouldn't compromise where it isn't necessary, as an Ethernet / LAN connection is a better choice! Because sometimes TVs just can't maintain a stable connection, and streaming media connections drop, or frequent Netflix error messages come up!

Thanks to Ethernet, you always have the best latency time and a stable connection, by switching devices from Wi-Fi to LAN, other devices that do not have a LAN also benefit by relieving the WiFi network!

2.) More aspects to always use Wi-Fi or not!

Here are some potential reasons why some people express concerns about Wi-Fi:

Radiation and Health Concerns:

Some people are concerned about the electromagnetic radiation produced by Wi-Fi devices. However, there is no clear scientific evidence that Wi-Fi radiation is harmful to health at the usual levels produced by standard devices. Most studies to date have not demonstrated any harmful effects, but research on the topic is ongoing.

Security Concerns:

Wi-Fi networks can be vulnerable to hacking, especially if they are not properly secured. Insecure Wi-Fi connections could allow attackers to access personal information or disrupt the network.

Slower than wired connections:

In some cases, a wired Ethernet connection can provide a more stable and faster Internet connection than Wi-Fi. Especially in environments where many devices are accessing the network at the same time, bottlenecks can occur that affect Wi-Fi speeds.

Interference from other devices:

Wi-Fi networks can be interfered with by other electronic devices and metal structures, which can cause connection problems.

It's important to note that many people use Wi-Fi daily without any ill effects. The concerns mentioned are often specific to certain situations or require appropriate security configuration. It is advisable to follow best Wi-Fi security practices and regularly stay informed about new developments and research.
