3. Hidden files and folders in Quick Access
Sometimes hidden files or folders will also be shown in Quick Access if you have opened them there. After disabling Quick Access, they will disappear from the area, but they will remain on the hard drive. Hidden files can also be viewed using tools such as Windows Explorer or third-party software.
4. Reset Quick Access
If you want to re-enable quick access later, you can easily undo the changes you have made:
- In the settings : re-enable the options under "Privacy" in the folder options.

6. Hidden and orphaned entries in Quick Access
After disabling Quick Access, some shortcuts or entries may still appear if they have been used in the last few days or weeks. These can be removed by manually removing the shortcuts or by clearing Quick Access.
