For portable use, please create or copy in MagicMouseTrails working directory the MagicMouseTrails.ini.
Or run an portable_install!

2.) Why is that so?
This saves me work and does not have to compile different versions, but some users can not do anything with a portable application, so I put both of them in the download area. Users who using Portable applications are familiar with portable applications and have less problems with it.
Especially with programs like MagigMouseTrails it almost does not matter as only 2 to 7 values / settings are saved in the ini file.
MagicMouseTrails.zip, MagicMouseTrails_Installer.zip, After I extracted them, I compared the hashes for both of the portable and installer executable (.exe) files and found them to be IDENTICAL! Both the separate 'readme' files were also IDENTICAL. So...what difference would it make in HOW you copy or install the separate installer vs. portable files? Why would you have to have people download separate 'installer' and 'portable' .zip files at all when they are the exact same thing? The ONLY differences I found were in the file NAMES. The other possibility is that someone accidentally loaded the wrong files into either the 'portable' or 'installer' .zip files. Also, given the executable files are identical, the instructions in the 'readme' files don't make sense.?
