Where is the Rating in Windows 8.1, 10 (Windows Experience Index)?


The standard solution to show the performance (experience) index not work in Windows 8.1, 10 but here is the solution!



You can use the Windows 8.1 command prompt in admin or standard mode and the command winsat formal  to calculate the Windows 8.1 performance index, or display!

1.) Run Experience (Performance) index on Windows 8.1!

Start the Windows 8.1 command prompt in admin mode eg using the keyboard shortcut Windows-X and and click Command Prompt (Admin). Now simply enter the command winsat formal to run or read the Windows 8.1 Experience-Index.

2.) Show / View the Experience Index in Windows 8.1!

Start Windows Explorer, for example, using the keyboard shortcut Windows + E and in the address bar enter the address:
%systemroot%\performance\winsat\datastore 

Then open the file ending with Formal.Assessment (Initial).WinSAT.xml the best is with one of the internet browser! (... see Image-2 Arrow-1)

Now you will see under WinSPR the system core overall performance index of Windows 8.1. (... see Image-3 Arrow-1)
