How to change the desktop Icon size in Windows 8 / 10 to classic (8.1, XP)?


To change the desktop icon size in Windows 8.1 and / or Windows 10 to classic like Win-XP!

Please click on an empty area on the Windows-8 desktop and select  View and use the option Small Icons, it´s the same like default XP icon size! (... see Image-1 Arrow-1 )

Please feel free and download ... AutoHideDesktopIcons this is a very useful Freeware and smalle software!

After download, open AutoHideDesktopIcons.zip folder and decompress (deflate, copy)  AutoHideDesktopIcons.exe to Desktop!

And activate the option "Start with Windows" (... see Image-2 Arrow-2)! Optional change the Hide-Timer (... see Image-2 Arrow-3) and activate options when you want to see the Desktop Icons on Windows 8 / 8.1! (... see Image-2 Arrow-4)!
