Select the photos you want to print. You can do this by selecting the desired images in the Q-Dir window.
2. Accessing the print function:
Go to the "File" menu, then "Tools" and select "Photo Print".
3. Print settings:
A dialog box opens where you can adjust various print settings, such as the size of the photos, the number of photos per page, and the printer you want to use.
4. Preview:
There is often a preview function that allows you to see how the photos will be printed before you finally confirm the print job.
5. Print job:
Once you have made all the settings, you can start the print job.
This function is particularly useful if you want to print images quickly and easily without having to switch between multiple programs.

2.) Because the classic Windows Photo Viewer doesn't always work!
If Classic Windows Photo Viewer is not working, there could be several reasons. Here are some possible reasons and solutions you can try:
1. File type not associated
Classic Windows Photo Viewer may no longer be set as the default application for certain file types, such as .jpg, .png, or .bmp.
Solution:
- Windows 10/11:
1. Right-click an image of the affected file types.
2. Select "Open with" and then "Choose another app."
3. Select "Windows Photo Viewer" from the list. If it doesn't appear, click "More apps" and search for it.
4. Check the box next to "Always use this app to open .jpg files" (or the corresponding file type).
5. Click "OK."
2. File corrupted or incompatible
The file you are trying to open may be corrupted or saved in a format that Windows Photo Viewer doesn't support.
Solution:
- Try opening the file with another image editing software or image viewer.
- Check the file size and format to make sure it is supported.
3. Windows Photo Viewer no longer activated
In newer versions of Windows, the classic Windows Photo Viewer is not activated by default.
Solution:
- Windows 10/11:
1. Registry adjustment (caution):
The following method requires changes to the registry which can cause problems if not performed correctly. Make a backup of the registry beforehand.
- Open the Registry Editor (press Win + R , type regedit and press Enter).
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Photo Viewer\Capabilities\FileAssociations .
- Make sure the correct file types (e.g. .jpg, .png) are entered there. If not, you can add entries manually.
2. Repair the installation:
Make sure no system files are corrupted. Run a system file check:
- Open Command Prompt as administrator (right-click the Start menu and select "Command Prompt (Admin)").
- Type sfc /scannow and press Enter. Wait for the scan to complete.
4. Faulty updates or system problems
Windows updates or system errors may affect the functionality of Windows Photo Viewer.
Solution:
- Check for available Windows updates and install them.
- Restart your computer to rule out temporary issues.
5. Use alternative image viewers
If Windows Photo Viewer has stopped working or you need an alternative, there are many other image viewers like IrfanView, FastStone Image Viewer or the built-in Photos program in Windows 10/11.
If these solutions don't resolve the problem, it might be helpful to look at more specific error messages or symptoms to enable further diagnosis.
