How can I show the folders (dir) size in a column of the Windows-7 Explorer?


To show the folders (dir) size in a column of the Windows 7, 8.1, 10 Explorer and on Server 2019, 2016, .... !




This is not possible in the new Windows-7 / 8.1 / 10 Explorer (file manager). Some external file manager, like the famous Quad-Explorer Q-Dir has this feature! Click here to see and/or download the freeware file-manager!

1.) See the Folder Size in MS-Explorer via File Properties!

It is possible to view the folder size in Explorer on all Windows Desktop and MS Server!

1. Open the Parent Folder or Drive 

2. Do a Right Click on the Folder 

3. Select in the Option "Properties"

4. In the Tab "General" see the Total Folder and included Sub-Folders and Files
