The PC does not turn off when the power button is pressed?


Quite annoying when the PC doesn't turn off when the power button is pressed, the solution is so easy on MS Windows 11, 10, ... desktop and notebooks!

1.) Just change the necessary settings!

1. As described here: ► Please open the Windows "Control Panel"

2. Then F3 the power options term "power button"

3. Set it so that the PC is shut down when the power button is pressed

(... see Image-1 Point 1 to 6) 


Don't forget to press "Save changes", now you can test it immediately. If you press the power button on the PC or laptop, it will shut down directly, with warnings that programs may be open!
