Resolve the Problem with Intel HD and 1680 x1050 screen resolution on Windows 7 and Win 8.1 or 8?
To resolve the Problem with Intel HD Graphics Cards and 1680 x 1050 screen resolution on Windows 7 or Windows 8 and 8.1 please install the newest Intel HD Graphics Cards Driver
for Windows-7.
STEP-1:
After installation, click the right mouse button on a free space on Windows 7 Desktop and click Graphics Properties (... see Image-1 Arrow-1 ) . In the Window "Intel® Graphics and Media Control Panel" please select (click) Advanced Mode (... see Image-1 Arrow-2 ) and click OK. (... see Image-1 Arrow-3 )
STEP-2:
In Advanced Mode please click Custom Resolutions and Enter with: 1680, Height: 1050, Refresh Rate 60 and
Color Depth: 32 Bit and confirm the values, please use (click) the Add button (... see Image-2 Arrow-4 )
STEP-3:
Use the Hot-Key [Windows+D] to see the Windows-7 Desktop. Please click the right mouse button on an empty area in the Desktop and click Change Resolution (... see Image-3 Arrow-1 ) and set the Windows-7 screen resolution to 1680 x 1050! That's it :-) (... see Image-3 Arrow-2 )!
