These are named consecutively with Auto-SaveXXXXX (1 ..).

I've been using your DesktopOK since version 4 ... and it always served well. Now I've switched to version 7.11 and it still does its job - but not permanently. The PC (an Intel i7-4xxx under Win10/11 Pro). At EVERY start, the PC presents the desktop to me completely mixed up. With DesktopOK I can always restore order, but the next time I start it is exactly the same chaos !!!! In the long run this is really annoying. What's going wrong? Where the hell does Windows store the desktop that's served me when it starts? How can I get Windows to present the desktop as it was when it was shut down after a restart?
