Repair Outlook Express *.dbx folder emails (free)!
Restoring and repairing the emails in the Outlook * .dbx folder or file is possible with free freeware and shareware software.
Anyone who still uses Outlook Express and has enjoyed the fact that the e-mail folder is empty and no longer displays anything is looking for software that can save the e-mails!

I have tested two programs, one is shareware with the name DBX Backup and as an alternative Mailcure, which is offered as free freeware!
1.) Repair Outlook-Express dbx emails with the shareware DBX Backup !
After downloading DBX Backup you have to install the software first. The repair was done very quickly after selecting the folder in which the Outlook Express e-mails were. Unfortunately, only 20 emails are repaired without registration.
In my case it didn't work, I wanted the last 15 emails, the program

2.) Repair and restore Outlook Express emails with the freeware Mailcure !
The free freeware Mailcure can be downloaded ... here . After downloading 300K, the exe file can also be started directly without installation. Here you select the drive in which the broken Outlook Express emails are located.
I recommend a free hard drive or a USB stick to which only the * .dbx files to be restored with the lost emails are copied. Otherwise the search may take a while.
