What is a keylogger?


A keylogger is a program / application that can be used to monitor keyboard entries on the computer! 




There are also hardware keyloggers, but these can only be installed if there is access to the device. The keylogger is plugged between the keyboard and the computer, today it is usually a USB adapter plug, in the past it was a PS2 keyboard connector.



 


Not every keylogger is spy or malware!



There are also programs that want to make your work easier and, with certain keyboard combinations, your intended tasks are carried out, programs or applications are started, selection menus are offered, texts are inserted, ....!
