What are wakelocks?

Wakelocks are software mechanisms that ensure that your device does not go into sleep mode!

While there are wakelocks on Android Windows 10, and they're not a bad thing either, it can have an impact on battery life!

Wakelocks can also keep your CPU running in the background all the time and prevent your device from going to sleep. However, this is a fairly important condition for abnormal battery drain. Therefore, it is advisable to regularly monitor the wakelocks on your device and determine which of your apps are putting a heavy strain on our system's resources.
