Please start DesktopOK and open the sub-program (function) Windows metrics and change the Windows Desktop Icon size and view.

DesktopOK messes everything up! What can or must I do so that it works properly again for how many years?
Firstly I love your software, it is very useful and I do appreciate all the work and effort that went into it. So this is really a constructive criticism that follows, to help make it even better. I don't know why, but 90% of times whenever I am saving the icon font to 9 pixels it uses 8 pixels. And sometimes it just messes everything real bad and puts 2 pixels there by its own. I mean it should not be that hard to set the horizontal spacing, vertical spacing and font sizes, but DesktopOK seems unable to do it a lot of the times. Granted, this is probably not the DesktopOK approach which requires just an Explorer restart, but first it should at least work and convenience could come second. For me it never really worked well for the past 6 years or so, on any version of Windows I had during these years. I can use it, but I always use Winaero to fix the spacing, and Desktop OK just to save icon layouts for that. It is very painful so if DesktopOK could also do the horizontal /vertical spacing right, it would be so awesome.
My problem would be solved if DesktopOK also had the option "Restore at program start" in addition to "Restore at system start". Then I would simply delay the start of DesktopOK via "Task Scheduler" from Windows (I already do this, but unfortunately nothing helps) and then it would be automatically restored. At the moment I still have to manually click on "Restored" after the delayed start.?
Every time I open the interface, I hope to save the user's operating habits. For example, set the directory arrangement to large icons as the default.
It's easy to use and always nice to find the desktop icons in the usual place on the screen. I would still like a small addition or adjustment option in the icon design: a) change the icon size b) adjust the horizontal and vertical spacing. I have not yet found a suitable tool for this and the change via the Windows registry is too impractical for me. The extension and insertion of this little additional function shouldn't be that difficult for you as an expert and would certainly look good on the "DesktopOK" tool.
