1.) Windows NT short and understandable!

NT version 3.1 introduced with the same user interface as Windows 3.1! In 1996 version 4.0 was converted to the Windows 95 desktop. Windows NT was later replaced by Windows 2000. However, it still had the Windows NT kernel. And this is almost still the case today!

The "NT" in Windows NT was originally the official abbreviation for "New Technology" in Chinese "新技术".

2.) Here is the overview of the Microsoft Windows NT operating systems!

 Example Windows XP 64 bit

The little-known Windows XP 64-bit, which was only available in English, was released in 2005 as Windows XP, it can hardly be distinguished from normal Windows XP, only that 64-bit applications work here, some of which I still occasionally test out of curiosity today. Since Windows Vista came out shortly thereafter, there was no German version of Windows XP x64!

3.) Microsoft Windows NT operating systems explained technically and soberly!

Windows NT (New Technology) is a family of operating systems from Microsoft, first developed in the late 1980s and released in 1993 with the release of Windows NT 3.1. Unlike previous versions of Windows, which were based on MS-DOS, Windows NT was a standalone operating system written from the ground up.

Here are some key features of Windows NT:

Architecture: Windows NT was designed with an advanced, modular, and stable architecture. It was not based on MS-DOS and was developed with the aim of providing a stable platform for demanding enterprise and server applications.

User management and security: Windows NT introduced advanced user management and security features. It supports multi-user logins with different permission levels and built-in security mechanisms.

32-bit operating system: Windows NT was a fully 32-bit operating system, which meant that it could take full advantage of the 32-bit architecture of the processors. This enabled better performance and multitasking capabilities.

Enterprise and Server Use: Windows NT was positioned by Microsoft as an enterprise operating system and found wide use as a server operating system in enterprise environments.

Successor: Windows NT was later replaced by various versions including Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, etc. The server versions evolved into Windows Server operating systems.

Windows NT formed the basis for many modern Windows operating systems and contributed to the stability and security of Microsoft platforms, particularly in mission-critical environments.
