Difference between advanced system settings and normal settings?
Normal system settings in Windows refer to the basic options that users can adjust through the graphical user interface, such as display settings, network settings, and basic user account management.
Advanced system settings provide additional, more detailed configuration options, usually intended for advanced users or administrators. These settings are usually responsible for optimizing performance and managing hardware, system protection, environment variables, and other advanced features. They are less accessible and often require a deeper knowledge of the system.
Some examples of advanced system settings include:
- Performance options (such as adjusting visual effects and processor performance)
- Environment variables (for custom paths and system parameters)
- System protection (for creating and managing restore points)
- Advanced startup options (such as enabling Safe Mode)
These advanced options are usually accessible through the System Properties dialog box, which can be opened by right-clicking "This PC" or "Computer" and then clicking "Properties." From there, clicking "Advanced system settings" takes you to the advanced options.
