How to resize Taskbar On Windows 11 small, medium and large?


Enlarging or shrinking the taskbar under Windows 11 is only possible via a registry hack to make the taskbar larger or smaller! 



The size of the Windows 11 taskbar small, medium, large is possible via the correct entry.

1.) The taskbar size on Windows 11!

You have the choice of the taskbar size, between small, medium, and very large.  

0 = small taskbar 
1 = medium-large taskbar 
2 = large taskbar

2.) Registry scripts for the Windows 11 taskbar size!


1. Open the Registry Editor app

2. Navigate to this key using the sidebar:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

3. Right click on "Advanced" and create a new DWORD32 value  

4. Rename with F2 in TaskbarSi set the value to 

0 = small taskbar 
1 = medium-large taskbar  << Default
2 = Large task bar

5. and ► restart the File Explorer

3.) ... Download the taskbar-sized registry script!

Here all the taskbar scripts are nicely prepared and can be used directly, the Explorer-Neusrat.bat is also in the archive. So it is quite easy to adjust the taskbar size on Windows 11, why not if it is so easy!

4.) Registry scripts to create yourself!


1. Right click on the desktop 

2. New text file 

3. And simply rename the taskbar small 0.reg in  Win 11

4. and use the respective script

Here I have written a taskbar size APP with 30 KB in size absolutely OK, some users often change the taskbar size setting. If you can, you can create it in 10 minutes!

1. Just after downloading place on desktop and Start

2. Select the task bar size

3. And let the Windows 11 Start Explorer newly
