What is a system image backup?

A system image backup is a copy of the entire C: drive that includes all installed apps and all configuration and data files!

It is required, for example, to use this system image to restore the system to the same state on a new PC or a new hard disk after a serious system error. Most applications do not need to be reinstalled.

A system image is particularly useful for preserving the state of an operating system at a certain point in time when it was still working correctly and without any problems.

See:
►► How to create a system image?
►► Restore system files and settings via a restore point!
►► a system restore point in Windows Seven?
►► Manually create Update Windows 10 to Windows 10 as a repair option!

It's easy and you can always create a system image backup to be on the safe side! Its use makes sense above all if you install programs, applications, ... for which you are not entirely sure whether these could have a negative impact on the corresponding operating system!
