Benchmark the company!

When benchmarking the company, the performance of the products, services, ... is made and measured and compared with those of another company. The purpose of benchmarking is to identify internal improvement opportunities and the processes to make changes that can lead to significant improvements.

The benchmarking can be done / done on almost anything!

However, benchmarking is not a panacea for improving performance, but benchmarking can be used to compare different performances and eventually lead to improvement.
