Start the Explorer Q-Dir with last window position and view settings!


The solution is simple to start the Quad-Explorer Q-Dir with last window position and view settings on all Windows 11, 10, ... and MS Server OS!

1.) Activate start with the last window position.

1. Start the File Explorer Q-Dir as always 

2. Via menu, extras, "Q-Dir always ..." 

3. Activate "last Window position" (... see Image-1 Point 1 to 3)

2.) Activate start with the last view setting.

1. Open menu "Extras"

2. Submenu "Starting as"

3. Use last view

IS easy to start the file explorer Q-Dir with last view settings on all Windows 10, 8.1, and MS Server 2019, 2016, ... Operating Systems!

  My question is not there in the FAQ
Asked questions on this answer:
  1. Since I switched from Windows 10 to Windows 11, the window settings used are no longer loaded after restarting the computer. The file explorer Q-dir only starts in the basic settings and the autostart function doesn't work either, what did I do wrong or is this file explorer problem caused by Windows 11?
  2. Please let the quad explorer q-dir on Windows OS remember it alignment + position, right now it only remembers its position but not the stretched (expanded) alignment!
  3. It would be nice to be able to save the configured configuration in the Quad-Explorer for all Microsoft Windows OS in Example Server 2019, 2016 and Win 10!
