Everything on the Windows desktop has been moved, what can I do?

The solution is very simple if everything on the Windows desktop has shifted, for example because the mouse has slipped.

If you do not use any software that can automatically save and restore the desktop icons, such as the freeware ►  DesktopOK , .... etc.!

Explorer only saves the desktop settings when it is shut down! You can use this and simply terminate the Explorer process in order to avoid saving the shifted or incorrect desktop division.

Press the key combination! [CTRL + Shift + ESC], then the task manager appears. Here you simply search for the explorer.exe. Select this and simply click the "End process" button.

Now restart MS Explorer. Via the main menu in the task manager, "File", "New Task" and enter the text explorer. This will reload the previously saved settings and the desktop looks good again :-)
