Use this option to additionally set the default programs based on the file type / format or a protocol. Here you can also specify that all PNG image files are opened with one program and all JPG image files with another program.
To view additional programs, if available, click or tap More Options. If no program is displayed that you want to use, you can tap or click on -Search for an app in the store- or -Search for another app on this PC- in the program list.

If you want to choose which file types and protocols a program uses by default, tap or click choose defaults for this program. Note, if a program doesn't show up in the list, you can make the program a default by associating a file type or protocol with it.
