2. Who benefits from multiple instances?
3. Does it work with other clocks?
4. The Classic Desktop Clock – A piece of Windows history!

1.) How does it work?

Since ClassicDesktopClock only allows one instance by default, you can create multiple copies of the clock using a simple trick:

1. Copy the ClassicDesktopClock.exe file .
2. Rename the copy and add a unique ID.

Examples:

- ClassicDesktopClock.exe → ClassicDesktopClock_id=2025.exe

- Additional instances:
- ClassicDesktopClock_id=2023.exe
- ClassicDesktopClock_id=2024.exe

This way, each instance receives its own individual settings and can be positioned separately.

2.) Who benefits from multiple instances?

✔ Users with multiple or large monitors – Place the clocks in different locations and always keep track of them.
✔ Nostalgics and Windows enthusiasts – Relive the classic Windows 98 SE design and enjoy the clock with a modern look.
✔ Customization enthusiasts – Adjust the size, position, and design of the clocks to create your preferred display.
✔ People who need multiple time zones – Display different clocks for different time zones at the same time.

3.) Does this work with other watches?

Yes! This method can also be used for TheAeroClock (analog clock with Aero transparency) and DesktopDigitalClock (digital clock with many customization options).

4.) The ClassicDesktopClock – A piece of Windows history!

Created by popular demand, the Classic Desktop Clock evokes the legendary Windows 98 SE clock used to set the time. It ensures that this old version of the time-setting clock is not forgotten and brings a touch of nostalgic Windows feeling to your desktop.
