When I switch between HDMI switcher the icons get rearranged!
When use a HDMI switcher between my work laptop and home computer into a 4K Visio TV that I use as a 'monitor' (huge desktop workspace/ great for gaming)

Sometimes when I switch between the two - the home PC decides it 'sees' the switcher as only 1024x768...I would then have to unplug / reconnect the HDMI for the home PC to return to 1920x1080 resolution - but all my desktop icons get rearranged etc...
