1.) System properties:

- Performance

Here you can adjust the performance settings of the computer by changing the visual style and animations. There are options for "Best performance" , "Best appearance" or "Custom" where you can specifically turn certain effects on or off. This can be useful to improve performance on older computers.

- Virtual memory

Under the Performance category you will also find settings for the virtual memory (paging file), which manages the swap file. This file is used by Windows when the physical RAM is full and can be adjusted to optimize performance.

2.) User profiles:

- User profile settings

Here you can manage user profiles, which store a user's settings and data on the computer. This is especially useful when multiple users are working on one computer, as each can have their own settings and data.

3.) Start and restore:

- Boot options

Here you can configure how your system works at startup, such as which operating system loads by default if you have more than one installed. You can also adjust the amount of time to wait before a selected operating system starts automatically.

- System errors
There are options to specify how the system responds to serious errors, such as whether it automatically reboots or creates a memory dump that can be used to diagnose errors.

4.) Environment variables:

- Environment variables

This setting allows you to create and modify user- or system-wide variables that are used by programs and services. For example, paths to programs, temporary directories or other important system paths can be customized here.

5.) Remote:

- Remote Desktop and Remote Assistance

Here you can configure settings that allow you to establish a remote desktop connection to this computer or allow other users to access your system via Remote Assistance. This is especially useful for remote access to the computer or for technical support.

6.) Differences between Windows 10 and Windows 11:

Advanced system settings are largely identical in Windows 10 and 11, as both operating systems are based on the same core architecture. However, Windows 11 has a modernized user interface that generally offers a cleaner and more consistent look. However, little has changed in advanced system settings, so experienced users will find the same options in Windows 11 as in Windows 10.

7.) Access to advanced system settings:

- Windows 10
You can access the advanced system settings by right-clicking on "This PC" in File Explorer, selecting "Properties," and then clicking "Advanced system settings . "

- Windows 11
Similar to Windows 10, but with a more modern context menu and slightly different navigation.

Overall, the advanced system settings in both versions of Windows offer a number of powerful tools and customization options that are especially useful for experienced users and IT administrators.
